After moving into their new office space in Morrisville, Garman Homes reached out to HagerSmith’s Interior Designers to assist them in creating a bright, welcoming space where they could both host custom home build clients and house their workforce.

Garman’s office is full of inspiration that employees take to heart, centering on their mission statement that has a place of pride on the main wall of their lobby. Clients are welcomed into the space with multiple seating options and booths with house-styled framework before entering Studio G, Garman’s open and airy design library.
The company requested an open space where clients could browse and select custom interior finishes for their homesites. A wall of tile on felt showcases the variety of color and texture that Garman offers to their customers, and a separate room of luxury vinyl tile and flooring samples is filed into easily accessible shelving. Neat and organized cabinets and drawers line the spaces, giving designers plenty of organization options for their sample library.
Inside the company’s workspace, communal gathering areas are peppered with thought-provoking quotes and portraits of inspiring leaders. Enclosed offices are guaranteed privacy with frosted windows with lyrics from favorite songs that serve to both inspire and name the individual rooms.
A hallway of “Zoom rooms” features single-seat booths with sliding doors and ring lights to optimize virtual meetings, and the floor of the kitchenette features catch phrases and advice from fellow employees.
The result is a functional, neat and colorful space that emphasizes Garman’s dedication to the client experience and provides useful and convenient meeting spaces and gathering areas for its employees.
