After North Carolina State University released an RFP for a feasibility study for a new tech center on the heavily sloped adjacent site next to the existing College of Textiles, HagerSmith partnered with local developer Keystone Corporation to secure the project.

The resulting shell office and industrial building is comprised of NCSU’s Non-Woven Institute and additional two stories of office and lab space. To house the NWI’s large spunbound materials machine, ceiling heights of 26’ and 50’ were implemented in high bay space.
