After the success of the original location in Downtown Raleigh, Parkside Restaurant expanded with a secondary location at Wendell Falls in Wendell, NC. HagerSmith partnered with our downstairs neighbors to design the layout and interiors of the new space, combining the airiness of the Wendell Falls location with classic southern elements that complement Parkside’s ambiance and menu.
Parkside at Wendell Falls
Cool tones take the spotlight inside the restaurant, with verdant green upholstery and tiling complementing the exterior landscaping. Wood paneling around booths calls back to the first Parkside location’s North Carolina poplar tabletops, and looping neon light fixtures and artistic wall sconces bring fresh flair.
The addition of a long L-shaped walk-up bar makes it easy for walk-ins to be seated and gives Parkside plenty of countertop space to display and serve their beer and wine selection.
