As Foundry Commercial prepared to move to a new office home in the Triangle, they wanted to ensure that their space exuded a welcoming warmth that encapsulated the company’s promise of personalized service to clients. HagerSmith’s interior designers were tapped to create a streamlined office with rich color palettes and sumptuous textural details that both facilitated multiple work styles and provided ample space for Foundry to host clients and in-office events.

The breakroom captures the spirit of Foundry’s mission with a neon logo wall featuring their “It’s Personal” motto, and mimics an open living room and kitchen floorplan with a cozy conversation layout and large marble island with appliances that can serve as an entertainment center for company parties.
Adjacent to the break room, the lobby is infused with natural light from the building’s floor-to-ceiling windows and features modern curvatures in the cabinetry millwork and the glass walls of the conference room, connected by a long swath of carpeted flooring that ties the two spaces together aesthetically.
The main conference room is adorned in elegant blue hues, with a side banquette that provides extra seating with sconces providing additional lighting. Over the conference room table, baffles with embedded lighting can be adjusted for brightness, giving attendees the option to customize the room’s lighting for their presentation needs.
Foundry employees work across a variety of desktops in an open office plan that features warm-tones wood tables and desktops with communal meeting tables for impromptu gatherings and discussions. Individual offices for company leaders face natural light, and private meeting and phone rooms provide additional privacy for those seeking head-down space.
