After moving to a new medical office building in Morrisville designed by HagerSmith architects, Arthrex Raleigh-Durham tapped our interior design team to create a home base that could host employees and visiting surgeons.

Arthrex’s showroom, classroom and wet lab are connected by foldable glass wall partitions that feature the logos of North Carolina universities and professional sports associations, cementing the company’s connection to local sports medicine providers and orthopedic surgical solutions.
Ample space is provided in the center of the showroom for mobile product displays to take center stage. Multiple gathering spots offer employees and visitors the opportunity to sit down and take a break, including a corner dedicated to retro arcade games.
The classroom and wet lab can host up to six groups of practitioners and feature generous overhead lighting and medical-grade spotlighting for training exercises. Clinical-grade flooring and other biosafety finishes ensure that all surgical procedures can be performed in optimal conditions.
Designated areas for staff operations and continuing education merge seamlessly through a series of interconnected suites. Employees have full desk mobility inside an open office area with a conference room that features Arthrex’s logo on a frosted glass privacy wall. Carpeting and flooring finishes were chosen in collaboration with Interface.
The result is a professional and sleek reception area and training base for Arthrex’s educational programs, anchored in a functional and modern medical office building.
